You and your belongings are unprotected for any eventuality if you do not have

insurance. Do you think it is worth exposing yourself to that risk?

It is risky to be without insurance. However, the population that prefers to be without

insurance is growing, possibly due to the following factors:

● It is no longer mandatory to have health insurance.

● Having life insurance is a totally voluntary decision and not mandatory by the

state.

● In some states like New Hampshire and Virginia, you can drive a car without

insurance.

Motorcycle insurance is not required in the states of Florida, Montana, and

Washington.

● There is no law that requires you to have Home Insurance or Renters Insurance.

● The service received by insurers is sometimes so poor that it is better not to be

insured.

Insurance is becoming more and more expensive and does not cover what is

necessary.

That some insurance is not mandatory does not mean that it is not necessary. Being

without insurance is a great responsibility for you because you will have to respond

financially for your risks.

The risks of not being insured

Following we will introduce you to the possible risks that you face when you are without

insurance.

Health care. People who are not insured are less likely to be diagnosed in the early stages of an illness and are likely to suffer complications from medical conditions aggravated by lack of preventive medical care.

Car / Motorcycle. If you cause an accident with your vehicle (car or motorcycle) without

being insured, you may face the suspension of the license and you will have to be

responsible for the medical expenses and repair costs of the victim's vehicle.

Homeowners/Renters. If your home or personal property is located in a hurricane or

tornado area and is not insured, you could find yourself in big financial trouble. Also, if

you are a tenant and do not protect your belongings from theft or water damage, you will have to take money out of your pocket to replace your belongings and cover the cost of the damage.

Being without insurance is not the best option, and we cannot wait for something to

happen to us to hire one. For this reason, we recommend that you seek advice or hire an agent in your area to help you find which coverage options best suit your budget and needs. Remember that insurance is to financially compensate you for the feared risks.
